Air Fryer Potato Chips

If you want to enjoy some air fryer potato chips and you are passionate about French fries, but you would like to remove that excess oil that hurts us and makes us gain weight.

Making crispy air fryer potato chips in your air fryer is super easy and very fast. Just follow these steps and let your air fryer take care of the rest.

You just have to adjust the time and temperature of your air fryer, put the potato chips, and voila. Your air fryer takes care of everything.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Potato Chips

  • 300 g natural potatoes

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (Helps stick spices together and makes food crispier)

  • 1/2 tbsp salt

  • 1/1 tbsp pepper

Optional Ingredients to add more flavor to Air Fryer Potato Chips

  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder (optional)

  • 1/3 tbsp dry parsley (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Paprika (optional)

  • 2 tbsp Curcuma (optional)

Directions of Air Fryer Potato Chips

Step 1

Choose some natural potatoes.

(The idea is to grab some vegetables that are not very wet so that they do not go to water us later).

Step 2

Peel and cut the potatoes: try to reduce the potatoes to the same thickness for complete and uniform cooking.

Step 3

Soak the potatoes in cold water: this will help us to remove the excess starch in them so that they do not stick together and do not brown when frying due to oxidation.

Step 4

Pour the cut potatoes into a bowl: add all the ingredients, the olive oil, and mix. (The tablespoon of oil helps the seasonings stick to the potatoes.)

Step 5

Transfer the potatoes to the Air fryer container. Set the temperature to 400F / 200C for 16-20 minutes.

(Check after 10min. To see if it is necessary to lower the temperature or move the fries).

Step 6

At the end of cooking, your home fries will be ready to eat, and be careful! Don’t get burned

You can fry your potatoes without oil, but it is always advisable to add a teaspoon or a spray of oil just to adhere to the seasonings and have a better crispy texture on your fries.

In a time of 20 minutes, they will be ready, and the best thing of all is that you do not have to worry about what will happen to you, once you set the timer, they will be ready, and the machine will turn itself off when cooking is finished.
