This recipe of baked chicken wings in the oven is straightforward, crisp, and delicious! I usually serve them with rice, poultry sauce, and a salad or vegetables. Use small thighs or wings, depending on your taste!
I often test different baked chicken wings in the oven as well as the oven-roasted chicken marinated in brown sugar and soy sauce.
Today’s is made with brown sugar, among other things, which gives it an incomparable taste.
Ingredients of Baked Chicken Wings in the Oven
12 chicken wings (1 cup = 250 ml)
50 ml tomato sauce (1/4 cup)
60-5 ml white vinegar (1/4 cup)
45 ml of brown sugar
30 ml olive oil (1/8 cup)
25 ml of chili powder
½ tablespoon ground coriander
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp salt
One clove of minced garlic (which I replaced with garlic powder)
Directions of Baked Chicken Wings in the Oven
Rinse well and wipe so plain chicken wings
In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients except the chicken wings.
Bring to a boil and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool.
In a large dish, place the chicken wings. Add the marinade and mix it as well.
Film the bowl and place it in the fridge for 11-12 hours. Place the grill at the center of the oven.
Preheat the oven to 180 C (350 F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the wings on the baking sheet (space them out). Cook for 20 minutes, turn the chicken wings over and continue cooking for 15-20 min or until you get a beautiful color.
Serve immediately with a good salad and barbecue sauce.
